gweiwire is written and edited by vladimiras riabcevas. he covers ai and crypto every day on x as @riabcevv and on tiktok as @beforefeed.

gweiwire is published by vladimiras riabcevas and is written for readers in the us, so scheduled releases (cpi, ppi, the fed) are given in us eastern time.

how we work

  • every number has a source. each figure links to where it came from. primary sources first (the bls, the fed, company filings and announcements, exchange and etf data), then established outlets like reuters, cnbc, coindesk, the block and decrypt.

  • prices are timestamped. market snapshots say when they were taken, because crypto prices are out of date within minutes.

  • reporting and opinion are kept apart. lines marked "the takeaway" are our read. everything else is reported and sourced.

  • sponsors are labelled. if an issue ever carries a sponsor or an affiliate link, it will say so.

  • not financial advice. gweiwire is news and explanation. nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

corrections

if we get something wrong, we fix it on the web version of the issue and add a dated correction note at the bottom saying what changed. we don't quietly edit numbers.
